Meet the Nat G® Team
|Balu is the co-founder and CEO of Nat G® CNG Solutions. He has 30 years of experience in the energy, industrial and technology sectors — with functional skills in marketing, business development, performance improvement, strategy, M&A and finance. Prior to co-founding Nat G, Balu was a senior partner of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was an integral part of their 10-fold growth into a global firm. He led BCG’s expansion into new geographies, helped triple their energy practice and co-founded their alternate energy and sustainability practices.Balu also served as a senior executive of El Paso Corp. He helped start and was the chief commercial officer of El Paso Global Networks, a metro telecom business that was later sold to a private equity firm. He was a member of the top leadership team for El Paso Merchant Energy, where he led a 100-person group with line responsibility for execution of numerous investment & commercial deals in oil, natural gas, LNG and power. He began his career as a chemical engineer at Union Carbide — now part of the Dow Chemical Company. He holds an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a master of science from Auburn University and bachelor of technology from the Indian Institute of Technology. He has lived and worked in the U.S., U.K., Brazil, India, continental Europe, Scandinavia, Turkey, the Middle-East, China and Australia — and speaks Portuguese and two Indian languages.|
|Dennis Foose is President at Nat G Solutions. He is a long-time veteran of the CNG industry and joined Nat G from Atlas Copco/Greenfield Compression where he was Vice President/General Manager.Before joining Greenfield, Dennis was a Director and Vice President, Sales at WRS Group, Inc., and Vice President of Leasing and Development for Zondervan Communications Group. Dennis has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Natural Gas Vehicles for America.|
|John is the Head of Operations for the Nat G® Conversion Center. John has had more than 20 years of experience in the automotive business. He has extensive experience in CNG vehicle conversions both at Steelweld in Texas and at Trace Upfitters in Louisiana.John is a native of Waco, Texas. He is married and has three daughters.|
|Bob Lukefahr is the Co-Founder and Director at Nat G® CNG Solutions. He is a twenty year veteran of the Energy industry, former CEO of Tessera Solar and former President of BP Wind Energy and BP Power Americas. Bob also served as Head of Strategy for BP’s Gas Power & Renewables Segment and its Integrated Supply & Trading business. Before joining BP, Bob was a partner at the strategy-consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton (now part of PWC). Bob holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in finance and operations management and A.B. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a veteran of the US Air Force and has served on several boards, including the American Wind Energy Association.
Bob lives in Houston with his wife Keo and his two children, Alex and Reagan. He is an active member of Ecclesia Houston and is also active in the Kairos Prison Ministry for the Huntsville Unit and the Eastham Unit.
|Doug Calvin||Doug is VP of Operations at Nat G. He has more than 20 years of operations experience and most recently was VP of Operations for Roper Industries where he managed seven manufacturing operations in Germany, France, UK, Holland, China and the U.S. Doug holds an MBA from the University of Houston and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla. Doug is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has extensive experience and certifications in Lean Manufacturing and TPS.|
